The Women Clothing Online Empowering Body Positivity

Our founder started Khai Teoh with a vision in mind to help people with insecurities of their bodies. It all started with her frustrations of forcing her body to fit into clothes, when in reality it should be the other way around, clothes should be made to fit you! She saw this as an opportunity to design trendy clothing for women of all shapes and sizes that struggle with these issues. In today’s fast-paced and mercurial world, all women deserve the right and convenience to present and express themselves without fear.

Providing women with the broad range of sizes from UK 6 to UK 14, Khai Teoh hopes to accommodate every woman and ensure they feel included and represented. Khai Teoh herself swears by this and she wants to take the first steps towards creating a brand that reflects this message. Let us break the mould of what the fashion industry has been telling us, who said curvy can't look beautiful. EMBRACE YOUR BODIES, EMBRACE YOU!

Starting out with an online clothing store, Khai Teoh strives to be accessible to all. Our founder hopes to launch her first physical store here in Malaysia soon.

GETTING TO KNOW OUR FOUNDER

Khai Teoh, a Malaysian national, graduated from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London in 2021, specialising in Print - Textiles Design. Her final project was featured in Elle Magazine UK’s Dec ’21/Jan ’22 issue. Initially, due to the constraints of the Covid-19 pandemic, Khai focused on handmade polymer earrings, which she sold successfully both in London and Malaysia for about two years.

This gave her invaluable experience and knowledge allowing her to focus on bigger ventures. In 2023, she chose to follow her passion and decided to create her own business, officially establishing the Khai Teoh brand.

We only use Eco Friendly Packaging

All of our plastic packaging used, from the clothing apparel packaging to the shipping packaging are all made from OXO-degradable plastic!

D2W technology turns ordinary plastic at the end of its useful life, in the presence of oxygen, into a material with a different molecular structure. At the end of the process, it is no longer a plastic, and has changed into a material which is biodegradable (by bacteria and fungi) in the open environment.

All paper packaging are made from recycled paper

Our hang tags, flyers, wrapping papers and anything paper related will be printed on 100% recycled paper.

Recycled paper is the greenest option, it uses less energy, water, and produces lower carbon emissions than the manufacturing of non-recycled paper and at the same time reduces the amount of waste to landfill – as paper can be recycled 4 to 5 times.

Our fabric print design is done with Digital Printing

Digital printing is one of the most sustainable methods of printing fabrics. It uses less water and energy than traditional methods, and there is no need for harsh chemicals. Digital printed fabrics are also easier to recycle than traditional fabrics.

As our founder is from a textile design background, she is very aware of the harmfulness of dyeing and printing fabric! We will be working on new ways to dye and print fabric in the most sustainable way with little to NO WASTE!

Keeping conscious of the materials we use

We are very aware that due to the nature of our industry, we are not the most environmentally conscious brand right now. However, we will try our hardest to improve and get better and better at making our brand more sustainable.
